Happy Thanksgiving! Any moment I have to show gratitude is a moment I won’t take for granted! I love seeing friends and family on social media counting the days of November with a moment of gratitude that they share with world. It’s a great reminder to be thankful!
One of the ways our team likes to show gratitude is to give back to the community. One of our projects for this month is a FREE community Shred-It Day on November 19. Come see us and safely declutter your space!
We will also be holding a food drive throughout the entire month of November. Drop off non-perishable donations between 9 AM-4 PM, Monday-Sunday, at our office on Avenue of the Fountains or at any of our open houses. Donations stay local and help our neighbors through Extended Hands.
We normally see a lull as we head into the holidays, so some slow-down is normal. However, the big news for the Fountain Hills market is that we are starting to return to a more balanced makret. There are more new listings on the market, which is good news for buyers, but many buyers are taking a wait-and-see attitude because of interest rates.
We knew we would get there, but average home prices topped $1M in Fountain Hills in the month of October. We’ll continue to watch home prices, as the experts forecast that prices may come down a bit as the high-interest rate environment spills into 2023. For perspective, though, last year the average selling price was in the $800’s. Homes are selling, though sellers may wait a tad bit longer.
