Happy Father’s Day! If you have been an important male role model in the life of a child, our hats are off to you! We would also be remiss if we didn’t take a moment to recognize all our Fountain Hills nurses and front-line medical workers. National Nurse’s Day was last month, and we didn’t want to let the moment slip by without shouting out a huge “Thank You” for all they have done
to see us through the pandemic.
We also just wanted to send bright birthday wishes out to Karen DeGeorge and her granddaughter, who both are celebrating birthdays in June! If you are out strolling around the fountain, stop in and say “Hi!”! It’s hard to escape the daily news drops about rising interest rates, soaring home values, and sky-high prices in the stores and gas stations. As you can imagine, these factors do weigh heavily on prospective home buyers, who are facing a bigger share of their wallets going to housing and living expenses.
While we are seeing Days on Market tick up, showing some slowing in the movement of homes in the Fountain Hills market, there are still more buyers than sellers, and home values are persistently pushing higher. The average Price-List Ratio is still over 100, which means buyer competition and above list offers are still the norm.
What we are seeing is in line with national experts, who expect home values to keep rising, but at a slower, more sustainable rate than the previous couple of years. We are keeping an eye on the numbers as we head into the summer and fall, but as of right now, it’s still a great time to sell your home in Fountain Hills!
